Year 3 have been invited to be part of a project based around sculptures created by Louise Plant. The 'Ps' sculptures are currently on display in Bishop Market Place; with a further exhibition in the Town Hall.

Once we had viewed the sculptures outside, we went inside to view smaller versions of the 'Ps' in all shapes, colours, textures and sizes. We discovered that each one seemed to have a personality of it's own! We then had the opportunity to draw some life-form pictures to use in order to form our own sculptures back at school.

Back at school we used wire to create our own sculptures, then covered them with foil, we finally purposefully bent our sculptures to make them more abstract in form. This project will also involve our children in three workshops; including dance, music and drama. The drama workshop will be led by a former Crook Primary School pupil!
