The Year 5/6 Central Venue League has drawn to a close for another season. With nine teams competing the league has showcased some excellent football and moments of brilliance from the players. The season got off to a disastrous start with a 4-1 defeat to our local rivals Hartside, but it was then the boys sprung into action. The team won the remaining seven fixtures and scored an astronomical 46 goals. As the team kept plugging on it was a frantic end to the season as three teams all challenged for top spot. However, it was the Crook Wolves who came out on top.

We would like to thank Sandy who ran the team with great discipline and allowed the boys to flourish in a well organised structure. Sandy ensured the boys were prepared correctly with training every week and the results were reflected in the outcome of the league. Well done Crook Wolves!
