Today we announced our pupils of the month for June 2025.

RA - Leo McManus
My pupil of the month is Leo. Leo is consistently doing the right thing and making good choices. He is a wonderful role model to all the boys and girls in Reception. Leo displays beautiful manners and has a fantastic work ethic - he is always keen to complete challenges around the unit and gives 100% during all carpet sessions. Leo has a unique ability to ignore all distractions and remain focused on the task in hand. Not only is Leo an excellent pupil to have, it is clear that he is also a lovely friend to all. He is kind, inclusive and a true joy to be around. Leo shows resilience and determination and is quite simply, a superstar! Well done, Leo!

RWT - Annie Fletcher
This month, Annie Fletcher has been chosen as our Pupil of the Month! Annie is a joy to have in class due to her enthusiasm and dedication to learning. She has made wonderful progress this year and has truly shone in class discussions and role play work. We have also been very pleased with her achievements in reading and writing more recently. Annie also has a mature and helpful nature, which makes her popular with her friends. It has been a pleasure to watch her imagination flourish and see how proud she is to share her learning with others. Keep up the great work, Annie, we are very proud of you

1L - Savannah Thexton
Congratulations to Savannah for being 1L’s Pupil of the Month. Savannah has worked incredibly hard this month to concentrate on her independent tasks and finish on time. Savannah has shown active listening on the carpet and has joined in with such enthusiasm, it has been a delight to see her so engaged in her learning. She has particularly enjoyed our history topic around The Great Fire of London this past week, and has remembered so many facts! Savannah has stood out for all the right reasons throughout June, showing kindness to her peers, and teachers! Savannah is incredibly thoughtful and an absolute pleasure to see each day – I’m so proud of her! Keep up the hard work Savannah, I believe in you!

1/2M - Bobbie Collins
1/2M's Pupil of the Month award goes to Bobbie Collins. Bobbie has worked her little socks off to try to pass her phonics test this month. She has been dedicated to going to afterschool phonics club to try and make as much progress as possible and we just know it is going to pay off! Bobbie has been made to read several times a day to improve her reading fluency and she has taken it in her stride. Bobbie has also worked incredibly hard to improve her handwriting this month. She is hard-working, shows great listening skills and to top it all off, she is one of the kindest little girls I have ever met. What an incredible achievement, Bobbie! Keep up the fantastic work as you transition to Year 2! I am so proud of you!

2D - Ezmay Denham
Ezmay is one of my quieter members of the class but that doesn't mean she shines any less! She is a joy to have in the class - always helpful and polite. Ezmay shows true grit and determination each and every day and she should feel very proud of her achievements throughout Year 2. It has been lovely to watch her confidence grow week by week and to get to know about the things that she enjoys outside of school. Ezmay gives her absolute best and I can't ask for any more than that! She is a beautiful little girl, inside and out and I am so pleased that she is receiving this award. Well done Ezmay, keep up the hard work!

3B - Thea Cavagin
Thea is just simply THE ultimate pupil! Thea could have had POTM every single month this year and it felt wrong that she should go the whole year without it, so now is her time! Thea is hardworking and dedicated in class. She needs no praise, as she aims high on the quality and presentation of her work every lesson without needing to be prompted. She is so well mannered and helpful towards staff in school. There are times I think that my head would fall off without Thea's help! She is a kind friend and spreads positivity around our classroom. You are amazing Thea, well done!

3S - Declan Irwan
3S's Pupil of the Month is Declan for the amazing progress he has made this year. I am incredibly proud of Declan's progress; in particular with his reading and comprehension skills. Declan comes to school each and every day with a smile on his face and is always so eager to learn. He is an incredibly friendly, funny, popular member of the class and his attitude to learning is infectious. I am incredibly proud of Declan for his consistent, hard working approach to his learning and I hope it continues next year!

4G - Grace Piper
My Pupil of the Month this month is awarded to Grace. What an absolute delight it is to have Grace in my class. She is always full of energy, but she knows when to show good listening and focus on her learning. Grace will always give everything a go, even if it's something she finds challenging, and she does this with her best efforts. Even though we have had a few changes in routine towards the end of the year, Grace has remained settled in the classroom and shown real maturity by listening to instructions well and demonstrating sensible behaviour. Well done Grace!

4L - Leona Watret
Leona has made so much progress, not only this month, but this year. She is always willing to contribute to lessons and she has been a superstar this month. Leona lights up any room she enters as she is always smiling. Her behaviour is exemplary to others and I can see a real focus and determination in her at the minute. She is proving how ready for Year 5 she is! Well done Leona, keep it up.

5M - Robbie Clarey
Robbie has had an excellent month! Even with set backs (broken arm) he has been a happy and fantastic member of the class who has participated at every opportunity. He has really engaged in his writing, producing a fantastic diary entry with descriptive language and full of imagination - it is clear that his love of reading is having a positive impact. Robbie has been enthusiastic in learning and contributes at all times by putting his hand up to ask and answer questions. He sets a great example by being an independent learner. Well done Robbie!

6O - Cameron Evans
Cameron has gone from strength to strength in Year 6, and has shown a mature attitude this month towards his learning. He is more than ready for Year 7! Cameron has shown considerable ability in teamwork, communication and excellence this month through his participation in our football house team event, scoring a great number of goals and encouraging his teammates. He has also demonstrated taking responsible steps to minimising distractions in class, which has allowed him to achieve his best. Well done Cameron!

6T - Isabella Massam
6T's pupil of the month is Isabella Massam because she has consistently demonstrated resilience, always pushing through challenges with a positive attitude. She has strived to achieve her personal best in all areas, showing independence with her learning. She shines brightly in her GEM powers - she is always eager to contribute in lessons and is a wonderful friend to her classmates. Keep being an inspiring example to everyone around you, Isabella!
