For our final half term in Year 4 we will be reading and studying 'The Land of Roar' by Jenny McLachlan.

The Land of Roar is a tale that follows the journey of Arthur and Rose as they enter a land they once helped to create through a fold away bed in their attic. The world of Roar is brought to life by characters such as unicorns, mermaids, a monstrous scarecrow and comedic ninja wizard.

Jenny McLachlan is the author of the best-selling Land of Roar series. Before she became a writer, she was head of English in a secondary school.
